Country Valley Foods has been providing high quality fresh meat to the catering industry for over 45 years. A family business, Country Valley Foods was established by Stewart Munro in 1971 as a small poultry wholesaler.
Since then we have grown in to a large catering butcher and wholesale food company with over 20 vehicles delivering to hundreds of restaurants, hotels, food producers, retail butchers, education and healthcare providers across the North of England.
Based at a recently refurbished and upgraded site in Billingham, Country Valley’s reputation for excellent quality local meat, poultry and chefs’ products is what keeps our business growing and growing. With our catering butcher and wholesale operations now merged and based on the same site we can offer you a seamless process ensuring that we get your order to you as quickly and as freshly as possible.
Country Valley owns and operates retail butcher, Newboulds. Established in 1856 and with five branches around the Tees Valley, Newboulds is one of the oldest companies in Middlesbrough.
Chef & Baker opened in 2016 as a complementary cookware and tableware showroom/shop open to trade and public. This unique retail experience adds a new dimension to the services we can offer our customers.
In 2011 Country Valley launched CV Refrigeration, offering commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. Kitchen design, bar design and EPOS (electric point of sale) was added to the list of CV Refrigeration's services with the acquisition of Ray Clark Co in 2012.
Stewart works alongside his sons (and joint Managing Directors) James and Edward Munro as Country Valley Foods continues to offer our valued customers a seamless and enjoyable experience, either in one of our retail branches or as a chef, butcher or caterer.
